Applies to: MediTek Stairlifts purchased between August 1996 to June 2007

It has come to the attention of MediTek Ltd that there is the potential for a safety issue to occur regarding the tightness of the seat main fixing bolts to the chassis.

As the manufacturer of your stairlift, we recommend that it should be checked and serviced regularly (at least every 12 months) by a suitably qualified maintenance engineer.

Has YOUR stairlift been serviced in the last 12 months? If so there is no cause for concern as long as you continue to have it checked and serviced regularly.

If your stairlift has NOT been checked or serviced by a suitably qualified person for more than a year, we recommend that you should arrange to have it checked as soon as possible to ensure it remains safe and reliable to use.
